With 2023 now firmly behind us, the age old challenge begins as we enter a new year and effectively start a fresh.

After 2 weeks of celebrating, overindulging and just generally eating everything in sight, returning to work always feels strange after the Christmas holidays. It feels like the one time of the year that EVERYONE switches off, as we disengage our brains to enjoy the break with our family and friends.

Returning to work can feel like an uphill struggle as you shake off that feeling of sluggishness and switch your mind back into work mode. However, I am determined to beat the January blues, brought about by the miserable weather and empty bank accounts, by throwing myself into implementing our 2024 Talent and People Strategy.

So, what do we have in store for this year:

  1. Growth. Once again our main goal for 2024 is growth, both as a business and as a team. We are heavily investing our resources into recruiting at least 15 new team members across our Scientific, Medtech and Healthcare sectors. We will also explore new sectors that perfectly complement and expand our current offering to ensure our clients always receive the greatest and most comprehensive service.
  2. Learning & Development: We want our employees to have the best resources available to allow them to excel in their role. We have created a new training program that breaks down the recruitment process into bitesize modules with a unique support system in place for junior staff members. We also will be hosting knowledge sharing sessions, c-suite level recruitment and management training for our senior team members.  
  3. Business Champion Award: We will be launching a new incentive that will provide mini challenges to our staff with a huge prize on offer for the winner.
  4. Culture & Employee Engagement: Our unique and flexible working culture is paramount to our business and it is why so many people have joined us in 2023. As a company we will continue to develop the culture we have created and add new benefits that will keep our employees engaged. 
  5. Team Bonding: We will continue to build on our company incentive days allowing our employees to have a say on what we do every month. We want to ensure our team is happy with the activities on offer and fully committed to socializing as a company.
