Bucking the Trend: Why have so many recruitment agencies struggled in 2023?

Recruitment agencies have faced a myriad of challenges in the past year, with the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to disrupt traditional hiring practices. Overall, recruitment agencies have had to display remarkable adaptability and resilience to weather the challenges of the past year.

I speak to candidates on a daily basis and so many recruitment firms have felt the impact this year; shrinking in size or even closing as a result of the challenging market.
